Ronald Kunis executive chef & chef of Restaurant en kwekerij de Kas in Amsterdam.
Prior to De Kas, he has worked abroad at the highly respected restaurants The River Café (London), Moosewood (Ithaca, New York) and Osteria 'del Enoteca (Switserland) "Cooking involves a deep respect for ingredients. Simplicity and flavour - that's what De Kas is all about."
The restaurant and nursery is located in a unique 8-metre high glass building dated back to 1926. The glasshouse is situated in Frankendael Park, between the Rembrandt Tower and the nineteenth century facades of Watergraafsmeer, De Kas is an oasis of calm for the fifty-thousand guests who dine there each year; either in the breathtaking dining room designed by Piet Boon, or at the chef's table in the kitchen, or - if weather permits - outside in the herb garden.
